Safety Competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.  Those travelling alone should leave their car keys and particulars at the ‘Information Point’.

Cagoules may be compulsory in the case of bad weather.

Although the university will be closed for Christmas and the roads on the campus will be much quieter than usual, take care when crossing any of the roads. There may still be some traffic. The university is also popular with the local people to walk and cycle. Please take care and be courteous to other users of the campus.

The main road through the campus, University Road, is marked out of bounds and must only be crossed at the bridges or the underpass; please observe this and all other areas of out of bounds.

The University also has a large lake and everyone should be aware of the dangers of such a large body of water.  There are several paths around the lake and a stroll around the lake is very pleasant, however in some places it is possible to get to the water’s edge.  Younger children should be supervised at all times near the lake.

Remember that you must download even if you do not complete your course.

Cancellation In the event of bad weather, a decision whether to cancel will be taken the day before and posted on the EBOR website.  Please check the website before travelling.
