Equipment

Castle Howard is set in the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area lives up to its title with beautiful rolling hills and a typically English landscape of farmland, meadows, hedgerows and mixed forests. There is an excellent network of bridleways which are clearly marked but the hedges are being trimmed.

There will be no confirmation of entries so please retain these details. Pre-entries received by 28th September will guarantee a pre-marked map. If you decide to enter on the day there is no surcharge but you may only receive a black and white photocopy of the competition map so O.S. Sheet 100 would be helpful.
