There was another excellent turnout for the final event of the season. Dalby Forest is probably the best area in North Yorkshire for mountain biking and Nick Jones had planned an excellent course. There was plenty of choice so no obvious route stood out but Andrew Windrum seemed to find the best route with a significant winning margin. His score didn’t help anyone who was looking for a good final event!!
Thanks for the prizes donated by Westbrook Cycles which were awarded to the League Winners

Final thanks to you for riding this year and making all of our efforts worthwhile.
Winter Lanequests
There will be 4 events on Saturday mornings again this year. The flier is on the web pages with the first event at Thorpe Arch near Wetherby on November 11th. Same format as last year with 30 controls in 2 hours followed by a pub lunch or drink. I have got planners for all 4 events so if you want to volunteer you will have to wait until next summer!!
Please just email me with your entry details so that Jens can print enough maps. Entry on the day is still ok but bring the relevant OS map in case we run out of pre-marked maps.
2007 League
I have had offers from 11 planners so, as we will be holding 11 events again next year, I am really chuffed!! We have had a mixture of forest and bridleway events this year – and a variety of lengths. I wasn’t thinking of any major changes next year but if you have any ideas please let me know
The split times and details of all our MBO events are on the TCA, NYMBO and Ebor web pages
