Saturday and Sunday will have Badge courses with limited Colour Coded courses.
Monday will be for the Relays. There will also be Bike-O, on the Sunday.
All events (except Bike-O) will use SportIdent Electronic Punching.

LOCATION AND TERRAIN:

The event centre, parking and camp site will be in fields East of Thirsk, near The White Horse, within walking distance of the starts and finishes. Please note: the event centre is only 30 minutes drive from A1.

This is a splendid new area with intricate & rocky forestry terrain - very varied - with huge ( really huge ! ) cliffs and boulders, large areas of runnable forest, old quarries and a complex zig-zag path/road network. (Click for photo)

The maps for all events will be 1:10,000 with 5m contours, produced by Acorn mapping and will be overprinted and bagged. Any special information will be included with the final details.

Right click here and select 'Print Target' to print the attached entry form (which is stored in .RTF format). Then complete it and mail it with your cheque to:

Badge event "entries on the day" will use pre-marked maps so may be limited by map/course availability. Pre-entry is strongly advised. Final details can be held at the event centre for you.
Colour Coded courses are EOD only.

Saturday and Sunday Badge events

are separate events. White Rose trophies for individuals will be based on the competitor's cumulative time for both days provided they have balanced start times. Pre-entry or EOD prior to Saturday registration closing time will qualify. The entry form allows a choice of start time on the Saturday. The Sunday start time is calculated to provide a balanced start time.

WHITE ROSE CAMPSITE

This year the campsite and the event centre are adjacent to each other. Water supply and toilets will be provided.

The campsite will only be available between 16:00 on Friday 23rd and 16:00 on Monday 26th.
Please do not arrive before or stay after these times.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prizegiving

Individual trophies will be presented as usual on Sunday afternoon. However, to avoid delay to competitors' travelling long distances, there will be no prizegiving after the relay event.

General

Eborienteers hope that you enjoy taking part at this year's White Rose and that you will help to contribute to the enjoyment of everyone else during the weekend. As is normal at such events, Eborienteers will not accept liability for any damage, no matter how caused. Should the event be cancelled for whatever reason, Eborienteers reserve the right to retain all or part of the entry fee to cover committed costs
