TRAVEL/
PARKING:		 GR SE578814 , 3km Southwest of Helmsley, just off the A170 Thirsk to Scarborough road. Signposted from A170. Parking £1 per car / £5 per minibus.
FACILITIES: Toilets. Traders.
TERRAIN: Deeply dissected limestone plateau dropping steeply to the River Rye in the north. Vegetation very varied with all types of conifer plantation, 600 year old oak trees and open moorland.
START/
FINISH:		 Start and finish 0.5km easy walk from assembly.
