String
Course:
There will be a free string course for young children from 10:30am to 12pm. This is located in the woods near the main Start.
Terrain: Deeply dissected limestone plateau dropping steeply to the River Rye in the north. Varying runnability with all types of coniferous and deciduous plantation and open moorland. Due to restrictions because of 'out of bounds' areas some courses have a greater climb than was anticipated. Much thinning is going on and the runnability in some areas is changing from day to day. Generally areas are becoming more open but there are a lot of brashings and extraction lanes appearing. Watch out for new pheasant pens that may not be marked on the map. The area contains several crags and ravines. Out of Bounds areas are marked on the map. Anyone entering Out of Bounds will be disqualified.
Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances a notice will be posted on the Ebor web site. If in doubt you can ring 07754088301. Eborienteers reserve the right to retain all or part of the entry fees to cover costs.
