Organiser's Comments.

Thank you all for coming, and using such a variety of methods of transport. The success of the event hinges on a tremendous team of very discreet control watchers, 30 people in 2 shifts kept a constant eye on each control for the entire time they were out in the City. Many of these kind friends had no chance to orienteer on the day, but they did want orienteering visitors to our lovely City to enjoy their runs to the full, a very especial thank you to them all.

Controller's Comments.

A very successful event, which reflected the hard work and effort, that went in to it by the Planner and the Organiser before the Event. The good weather made it an extremely enjoyable event. Very few problems during the running of the event. 1 malfunctioning control was quickly rectified. The co-operation from York City Council and St. John's College was superb. Once again Steve Whitehead provided challenging and intriguing courses, and he says he has more up his sleeve for next year!!
