EBOR CLUB TRAINING BRAYTON BARFF

SUNDAY 16TH JANUARY 2000

Results

65 people trained on Brayton Barff today practising their orienteering techniques without the pressure of competition. There were 25 seniors and 40 juniors from a scout group and 2 schools - it's not surprising that The Mount and Hambleton did so well recently at the British School Championships. Having chosen to practice following handrails, sticking to a corridor, control picking or map memory a few orienteers competed in an informal score event. Thanks to the control hangers and collectors - plus whoever decided to provide such beautiful weather. The event even made a small profit.

If you decided to go to Rivelin could you let me know what the attraction of travelling 70 miles had over running at Brayton.
