Start will be at Copmanthorpe Recreation Centre Car Park
(I will be in a dark blue Vauxhall Zafira - near to the building entrance)

Start Times: 6pm to 7pm
Course: 60mins score (40mins score juniors)
Entry Fee: £1 (50p Juniors)

Note: Juniors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

Equipment needed: Torch/ pen / map bag (if wet!)

Directions :

Follow signposts to Copmanthorpe village centre. Pass row of shops and 'The Royal Oak' PH on left hand side and turn left after approx. 100m into St.Giles Way (opposite Post office)

Take 2nd left into Barons Crescent and follow road around to the right
The Recreation Centre is the 3rd turning on the left hand side

We will be running a series of winter street events designed for training but incorporating a league similar to the summer score events. Events will take place fortnightly on a Tuesday evening either side of Christmas. We have some areas that could be added to the fixture list if we can get someone to plan/organise. If you are interested please give me a ring. Control sites are usually numbered lamp posts or other similar features.

Here are the rules/guidelines for each event:

• Each event will run as a score event (adults 60 mins, juniors 40 mins)
• There will be 25 controls
• Controls will vary in points and the total available will be 300 points.
• Due to the nature of the events juniors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
• If the junior is to be competitive then the accompanying adult must act as a shadow and be non competitive themselves or the adult can be competitive and the junior can run as a partner.
• Competitors will be advised to carry a torch.
• Start times will be between 6pm and 7pm
• Entry fee will be £1.00 (50p for juniors)
• To guarantee a pre-marked map please contact the Organiser by Sunday prior to the event.
• The same scoring system as the summer league will operate
• A competitor's best 4 events will count towards his total score
