Glad to see so many turn out and although it was wet under foot the rain didn't come until we were packing up to go home.
Thank you to Helen and Heather Gardner for planning the courses. Wheldrake is quite an easy place to navigate in but there were one or two challenging controls. Thank you Dennis Hooton for stepping in at a late date to Control and help, especially on your birthday.
We had intended to provide soup on the night but we couldn't get the gas out of the bottle so I am sorry. Most of you didn't get to sample Sue Adams cooking. Thank you Sue, Peter Bean and Andrew Gardner for their help on the night and last but not least, Dave Binks for providing Electronic Punching.
Next year I was thinking it might be an idea to do this event as a score event, easier to plan and organise, it's not such a long night, you can still get your YHOA League points and it is a lot more sociable.
