Ebor Events 2026
Calling all members. We need volunteers to be organisers and planners for some of the events shown above. This could be an experienced orienteer or a novice. Full support will be given, you will not be left on your own.
A organiser does not have to do everything. They are there to 'organise' other volunteers in the various jobs.
Planning an event could be shared. We have expeirenced planners in the club who are willing to shadow any new planner.
Please come forward even if it just for an initial chat.

White Rose 2026
White Rose 2026 will take place in the Scarborough area. It will include all the usual events including a night score, a sprint, a middle distance race and a classic race. In order to get things up and runnung we need:
Weekend Coordinator(s) for The White Rose.

Eborienteers are looking for a Weekend Coordinator — or a pair of coordinators working together — to help deliver The White Rose weekend.
This is a coordination role, not a one-person job. You’ll be supported by a strong team of experienced and willing volunteers, plus a mentor if you’d like one.
The role suits someone with:

Good organisational skills
-
A practical, common-sense approach
-
A sense of humour
Without someone in this role, the White Rose weekend cannot go ahead. With the right person (or pair) in place, it can be another successful and enjoyable event.
